Why does Keep-In-Sync establish an internet connection at
program start?
Keep-In-Sync tries to get actual information from it's web-server and it checks for
being a new version available. This is done in the background and, if no internet connection is available,
nothing in particular will occur. Normally, you won't be informed about successfully or unsuccessfully
connecting the web-server, unless your firewall is turn on and Keep-In-Sync is not set
on the program list for exceptions.
Note (when starting the program for the first time):
On the first program start, you need a HTTP-able connection to the internet, since you won't have
a license- or testlicense-key at that time. This key has to be requested over the internet when first
starting the program.

Is there a free evaluation period?
Yes, there is. Keep-In-Sync is a shareware program, that can be used for free for a limited
time and without functional restrictions for evaluation purposes. You simply need to register with your name
and email-address. Then you will get a test-license key for activating the software, only limited in time. The
length of the evaluation period will be displayed in the shareware-message you will get at program start.
Your name and your email-address are strictly confidential and will be used only to inform you about
important news or about updates concerning the software.

What is the price for Keep-In-Sync?
If you want to use Keep-In-Syncafter the end of your evaluation period, you have to buy
a program license. The price is displayed in the shareware-message, shown at each program start, as long
as the evaluation license is active or as long as you won't have a test-license key.

How can I purchase the program?
While you don't have activated the software by an unlimited license-key, a shareware-dialog will be displayed
each time you're starting the program. With the pushbuttons in that dialog, you can easily purchase and activate
the software online by only a few clicks. At the moment, payment by credit card via
Mastercard,

is possible.
